The Sustainable Biofuels Lab is a two-phase multi-stakeholder process aimed
squarely at defining requirements and accelerating commercial
development of sustainable biofuels at scale. The first phase
of the process brings participants up to a common level of
knowledge and understanding of the current and potential
future situation, including the practical requirements for
(and consequences of) achieving sustainable biofuels production
at scale. The second phase of the process is action-oriented,
and aimed at enacting collectively identified innovations
to accelerate the commercialization of sustainable biofuels.

In response to the recent declaration by the WHO of an influenza pandemic caused
by a new strain of H1N1 influenza virus, bio-era is pleased
to offer a multi-client service designed to provide information
and analysis around best practices for adapting to pandemic
influenza. The service is modeled on bio-era’s earlier “Thinking
Ahead” service for H5N1 avian influenza, and will focus on
providing a bio-era scenarios framework and accompanying
analysis of emerging events and developments over the coming
six month period, the business and economic implications,
sharing experiences among participants, and the response
options available to businesses. |
