Genome Synthesis and Design Futures is an on-going multiclient activity to explore the implications of dramatic gains in the power of enabling biotechnology (gene sequencing and gene synthesis technologies), and the equally dramatic decline in cost of these technologies — and their broad diffusion — both geographically, and into an increasing array of non-traditional areas of application.
